Software Support Manager

Software Support Manager
Unisfair is seeking a Software Support Manager to lead our virtual event production and Level 1 customer support teams. In this role you will assist our clients in all aspects of content delivery and integration for our hosted applications. This requires your ability to handle the following tasks.
Responsibilities
- Lead troubleshooting of our java-based 3-tier web application and flash media webcasting architecture
- Manage Level 1 Customer Support and processes including live event support
- Escalate Level 2 issues to our software development team, and manage resolution
- Coordinate implementation of HTTP-based integration with customer systems
- Review Networking protocols and requirements with customer IT Teams
- Schedule and balance the workload across the production team and oversee work assignments
- Work with Product Mgmt and QA in testing and releasing new product versions
Required Qualification
- Experience with the following technology:
- Java applications
- SQL and Oracle databases
- Adobe Flash Media Servers (preferred)
- Webcasting and media streaming
- Networking Protocol
- 6+ years experience working for a Software-as-a-Service company or implementer of web-based software applications in a software support role
- Experience leading support teams and managing successful project implementations

Engagement Manager
We are looking for an experienced Engagement Manager to assist our clients in managing their virtual event process, including all aspects of planning, training, and implementation. Related marketing or event management experience is essential along with proven project management skills. If you thrive in a fast-paced environment and can manage competing priorities with clarity and ease, this may be the right position for you. You will be trained to provide solutions based on our product platform which requires interfacing with our Support, Engineering and Product Management teams to achieve and maintain maximum customer satisfaction.
Responsibilities:
- Serve as primary contact for client team during the virtual event project
- Provide direction and leadership for multiple, simultaneous event projects
- Manage the overall event process for each delivery team:
- Coordination of content delivery and event production
- Recording and broadcasting of webcasts
- Internal and external reporting and quality assurance
- Facilitate the definition of project scope, goals and deliverables
- Create, manage, and track project schedules, deliverables, and resources
- Create and maintain project records and documents
- Manage and facilitate status meetings with the customer project team
- Lead training sessions for client team personnel
- Manage changes and mitigate risks to achieve client objectives
- Oversee organizer support, live broadcasts, and exhibitors’ requirements
- Present reports defining project progress, problems and solutions, and closure
Required Qualifications:
- 6-7 years professional, related marketing or event management experience
- Minimum of three years project management training or expertise – PMP or equivalent a plus
- Ability to use good judgment in problem-solving and demonstrate strong decision-making skills
- Outstanding interpersonal skills; excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Strong customer account management skills such as planning, monitoring, execution, reporting
- Leadership qualities that allow for effective interfacing at all levels – promoting a sense of urgency
- Ability to simultaneously manage multiple projects with average durations of 2 to 4 months
- BS/BA in business, media communications, or related field preferred
